Who brought these poor water rats in such an outrageous situation which seems to be so contrary to their nature? We have to protest because we almost feel sorry for them, considering that they are in a completely unfamiliar environment far away from their natural habitat: flying instead of swimming, clouds instead of waves, air instead of water. We don't know if they have become apathetic out of sheer despair, or if they just stoically lay their hands in their laps and follow the event - their facial expressions give no information about their feelings. One thing is for sure: if these stately gentlemen were displeased to stay at that dizzying height, surely they would have already jumped into the sea at their feet.. so we assume that this is not a dangerous situation, but rather an ordinary trip among colleagues.
